\u0160to zna\u010di pojam \u017eene i \u017eenskog? Kako biti \u017eena u dana\u0161nje vrijeme izlo\u017eenosti masovnim medijima, digitalnoj kulturi, virtualnim svjetovima, dru\u0161tvenim mre\u017eama\u2026.Stvoren je veliki jaz izme\u0111u onog \u0161to \u017eene stvarno jesu i medijski nametnutim mentalnim predod\u017ebama, standardima i ograni\u010denim stereotipima.<\/p>\n

U nedostatku misti\u010dnih rituala i inicijacija koji su nas vodili kroz (\u017eenske) \u017eivotne cikluse, putem procesa umjetni\u010dkog stvaranja istra\u017eujem i propitujem vlastito postojanja u tijelu\/ulozi \u017eene,\u00a0 \u017eenskom identitetu, ali i \u017eenski arhetip (Anime) u odnosu na mu\u0161ki (Animus). Poku\u0161avam premostiti taj jaz izme\u0111u stvarnosti i privida, svjesnog i nesvjesnog, individualnog i kolektivnog, intuitivnog i racionalnog, emotivnog i intelektualnog. Jaz unutarnje podvojenosti izazvan nerazumijevanjem, neznanjem i \u0161utnjom.<\/p>\n

Sam rad je autobiografski i nastajao je kroz dulji period vremena od nekoliko godina. Svaki sloj je nastao u meni zna\u010dajnim trenucima \u017eivota. \u017deljela sam transformirati traumati\u010dna iskustva\u00a0\u00a0 u izvor samospoznaje i ponovnog ro\u0111enja.\u00a0 Snimanje vlastitog golog tijela u ogledalu, digitalnom kamerom proces je \u010du\u0111enja, istra\u017eivanja, promatranja, prihva\u0107anja. <\/p>\n

Tijelo koje je nositelj duha i du\u0161e, prolazi kroz bezbroj promjena i faze razvoja, \u010dudesno u svom postojanju\u2026.Ali jo\u0161 \u010de\u0161\u0107e sam ga do\u017eivljavala kao zatvor. Izvor patnje, boli i nemogu\u0107nosti u bolni\u010dkom krevetu. Uz to i \u017eenskog roda \u0161to mi se samo po sebi \u010dinilo ograni\u010davaju\u0107e u vrijeme kad se predstava \u017eene kre\u0107e izme\u0111u slike Djevice Marije, seksualnog objekta i feministkinje. \u017deljela sam pobje\u0107i od sebe. Ogledalo je suo\u010davanje. Ra\u0111amo se goli. <\/p>\n

\u017densko tijelo sa svojom oblinama, uzvisinama i nizinama, mjese\u010dnim ciklusima, \u017eivotnim ciklusima i mogu\u0107no\u0161\u0107u ra\u0111anja podsje\u0107a na cikluse i godi\u0161nja doba majke zemlje. Ta slika je arhetipska. Okrenuti se ne\u010dem ve\u0107em od samog sebe, beskraju svemira i ljepoti prirode\u00a0 izvan sebe i unutar sebe, omogu\u0107uje nam transcendenciju. Jer mi smo tek drhtaj svije\u0107e u odnosu na svijetlost zvijezda. Prihva\u0107anje sebe i svojih ograni\u010denosti, doga\u0111aja koje nismo \u017eeljeli, o\u017eiljaka koji bole, donosi spokoj, otvara se prostor\u2026..“Vidimo“ da smo vi\u0161e nego \u0161to smo o\u010dekivali\u2026.<\/p>\n

Onaj dio nas koji nije okom vidljiv ni opipljiv je na\u0161 misaoni i emotivni \u017eivot. Na\u0161a ma\u0161ta, na\u0161a sje\u0107anja, znanje, svjesnost, intelekt, karakter, vrline, mudrost, kulturno, socijalno, obiteljsko naslje\u0111e. Osobnost.\u00a0 Na\u0161 \u017eivot se odvija u me\u0111uigri svih tih na\u0161ih slojeva. Stvaramo auru\/atmosfero oko na\u0161e jezgre. Balansiramo silnice postojanja. Dajemo gravitaciju duhu. On zadobiva te\u017einu u na\u0161em tijelu. Tijelo dobiva lako\u0107u.<\/p>\n

Biti okrilje novom \u017eivotu, nositi dva srca u svom tijelu, imati mogu\u0107nost ra\u0111anja zapravo je misterij koji se ne mo\u017ee doku\u010diti intelektom. To je iskustvo bivanja \u017eenom koje se ne mo\u017ee opisati rije\u010dima i svaka \u017eena ga do\u017eivljava na svoj na\u010din. A nije ni svaka mitoza uspje\u0161na. <\/p>\n

Logi\u010dno razmi\u0161ljanje je istisnulo simboli\u010dno. Intelekt secira, sortira i samim tim je ograni\u010den. Posljedica toga je da smo izgubili \u010du\u0111enje prema \u017eivotu, svijetu i prirodi. <\/p>\n

Nekad smo se izra\u017eavali pe\u0107inskim slikama, zatim smo otkrili pismo, inkunabule su bila umjetni\u010dka djela, tiskanjem slova knjige su postale dostupne \u0161iroj publici.. novine, radio i TV po\u010detak su masovnih medija, digitalni medij zadnji je u tom nizu\u2026 U tom kontekstu zamijenila sam slikarski medij digitalnim. Apstrahirala sam slike tijela da dobijem ne\u0161to sli\u010dno mapi zemlje u vremenskoj\u00a0 prognozi i da izbjegnem eroti\u010dne konotacije. <\/p>\n

Prednost filma je zvuk koji aktivira desnu polovicu mozga. Zvuk izme\u0111u ostalog sadr\u017ei snimke otkucaja mog srca i otkucaje srca mog nero\u0111enog djeteta. \u017deljela sam zaobi\u0107i intelekt. Rad je simboli\u010dan i meditativan, bez pravog po\u010detka i kraja. Nema zaplet i rasplet u klasi\u010dnom smislu. Ne obja\u0161njava i nije dore\u010den. Vi\u0161e je kao digitalni haiku. What does the terms woman and feminine means? How to be a woman in today’s time of exposure to mass media, digital culture, virtual worlds, social networks… A big gap has been created between what women really are and media-imposed mental images, standards and limited stereotypes.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

In the absence of mystical rituals and initiations that guided us through (female) life cycles, using the process of artistic creation I explore and question my own existence in the body\/role of a woman, female identity, but also the female archetype (Anime) in relation to the male (Animus). I try to bridge that gap between reality and appearance, conscious and unconscious, individual and collective, intuitive and rational, emotional and intellectual. The gap of internal division caused by misunderstanding, ignorance and silence.<\/p>\n

The work itself is autobiographical and was created over a longer period of time. Each layer was created at significant moments of my life. I wanted to transform traumatic experiences into a source of self-knowledge and rebirth. Recording my own naked body in a mirror, with a digital camera is a process of wonder, research, observation, acceptance.<\/p>\n

The body, which is the carrier of spirit and soul, goes through countless changes and stages of development. It is miraculous in its existence… But even more often I saw it as a prison. The source of suffering, pain and impossibility in the hospital bed. In addition, it was female gender, which in itself seemed limitation to me, at a time when the presentation of a woman moves between the image of the Virgin Mary, a sexual object, and a feminist. I wanted to run away from myself. The mirror is a confrontation. We are born naked.<\/p>\n

The female body, with its curves, ups and downs, monthly cycles, life cycles and the possibility of giving birth, resembles the cycles and seasons of mother earth. That image is archetypal. Turning to something greater than ourselves, the infinity of the universe and the beauty of nature outside and within ourselves, enables us to transcend. We realize that we are just a flicker of a candle compared to the light of the stars. Accepting oneself and one own limitation, events we didn’t want, scars that hurt, brings peace, space opens up…. “We see” that we are more than we expected…. <\/p>\n

That part of us that is not tangible or visible with the eye is our thought and emotional life. Our imagination, our memories, knowledge, awareness, intellect, character, virtues, wisdom, cultural, social, family heritage. Personality. Our life takes place in the interplay of all these layers of ours. We create an aura\/atmosphere around our core. We balance the lines of existence. We give gravity to the spirit. The spirit regains its weight in our body. The body gets lightness.<\/p>\n

Being a cradle for new life, carrying two hearts in one own body, having the possibility of giving birth is actually a mystery that cannot be comprehend by the intellect. It is an experience of being a woman that cannot be described in any words and every woman experiences it in her own way. And not every mitosis is successful. <\/p>\n

Logical thinking has supplanted the symbolic. The intellect dissects, sorts and is therefore limited. The result is that we have lost our wonderment towards life, the world and nature. <\/p>\n

We used to express ourselves with cave paintings, then we discovered writing, incunabula were works of art, by printing letters, books became available to bigger audience… newspapers, radio and TV are the beginning of mass media, digital media is the last in that series… In this context, I have replaced the painting medium itself with digital. I abstracted the body images to get something similar to a weather map of the earth and to avoid erotic connotations. The advantage of the film is the sound that activates the right half of the brain. The audio work in video includes recordings of my heartbeat and the heartbeat of my unborn child, among other sounds.<\/p>\n

I wanted to bypass the intellect. The work is symbolic and meditative, without a real beginning and end. It has no plot and denouement in the classical sense. It does not explain and it is not defined. It’s more like a digital haiku. Acceptance and reconciliation of opposites. Freedom from oneself and personal limitations.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
